Rainbow Falls
Elk Mist
Taken on the Madison River near the west entrance to Yellowstone. It was an incredibly cold morning (around 10 degrees F) which made mist rise from the somewhat warmer water (and subsequently settle and freeze on me!).

Beaver Dick
A little place called "Beaver Dick" (Yes! Really!) in southeast Idaho. It was a beautiful morning with the temperature hovering just around freezing. Many snow-geese were flying around while I sat and took in the scenery.

Snowy Reflection
It was late spring and I had almost given up on photography for the day, until I saw it start to snow. The snow cast the landscape into an eerie fog and I was able to capture some wonderfully moody pics like this one.
